If you need help from the 999 Club, the Gateway is where you can come and talk to us about what you need.

About the Gateway

If you are experiencing homelessness, you are welcome to come to our day centre, which is open from 9am to 3pm on weekdays.

We provide showers, food, you can charge your phone or use our phone or computer or Wi-Fi. You can do your laundry or check your post.

Our staff can support you with ID, claiming benefits, finding work, searching for housing, social integration and referrals to specialist agencies.

We also have a women-only space called “The Sanctuary”.

Help fund our services

If you experience poor health, you're more at risk of homelessness. In turn, experiencing homelessness increases the risk of poor health. It’s a vicious cycle. Plus, the longer you leave medical issues unattended, the worse they can become.

Yet many people facing homelessness are still turned away from accessing GP services because of their lack of a fixed/permanent address.

Thanks to our partnership with an Advanced Nurse Practitioner from Amersham Vale Practice, we offer on-site healthcare, GP registration, and specialist referrals, ensuring you receive the care you need.

Opening times: Monday 8am-2pm; Wednesday 8am-3pm; Friday 9.30am-2pm.
