More than 100 people enjoyed BBQ food, live music and fun in the sunshine at this year’s Deptford Big Lunch (on June 9).
The event, organised by the 999 Club with the Bear Church and Bench, brought together the community for food and friendliness, in Giffin Square by Deptford Lounge.
All food was donated and volunteers manned the BBQ, serving up a steady stream of chicken, burgers, sausages and halloumi, while people helped themselves to salads and desserts.
Bands provided live music throughout the afternoon.
