Gift Aid

Find out what Gift Aid is and how it can help the 999 Club get more from your donations.

What is Gift Aid?

Quite simply, Gift Aid is a wonderful Government scheme that allows 999 Club to reclaim the basic rate of tax you pay as a UK taxpayer on your donation.

Are you a UK taxpayer? By making a Gift Aid declaration, you increase the value of your donations to the 999 Club by 25%. So for every £1 you donate, we can claim 25p back from the Government. All at no extra cost to you.

How to sign up for Gift Aid

If you’re a UK taxpayer, all you need to do to increase the value of your donations is complete a Gift Aid declaration by either:

Ticking the Gift Aid box when you donate here.
Calling us on 07735 847058 and making a declaration over the phone.

Unsure whether you have already made a declaration? Please submit your details to this form and we will add this to your record.

Once you have completed this process, we can claim the tax back on your donations.

You only need to complete the declaration once, as it will cover any future donations.

By completing a Gift Aid Declaration, the impact of your donation will be increased. Every year, through the Gift Aid Scheme, we can claim back thousands of pounds to go towards our work at no extra cost to our donors.

As a supporter of our work, your generosity enables us to make a real and lasting difference to people who are facing homelessness. Thank you.

Visit the government website on Gift Aid for more information.
